Our new and improved individual ad pages

Most of you may have already noticed the revamped look of our individual ad pages. Our main goal was to make the page more compartmentalized and user-friendly so you can easily get a bird’s eye view of the ad’s details. We also wanted to make it, simply put, more aesthetic.

Of course, we’ve maintained its printer-friendliness, despite the added graphical elements. If you try clicking on Print Preview, you’ll notice that all of the ink-heavy / unnecessary elements are hidden.

Rob Schneider – Please come to Manila!

I think most of you already know that Rob Schneider is part Filipino. It is a fact that he has made known through several movies (eg. wearing the “I Love Cebu” shirt on “The Animal”, and mentioning bibingka on “Deuce Bigalow”), so you would think that if he ever decided to grace Asia with his presence and stand-up comedy routine this 2011 that he would make the Philippines his first destination right?

Unfortunately not. He’s scheduled to be in Singapore this coming February 18, 2011, but I can’t find any news that says Rob will be live in Manila. Which is really a bummer because I would have been one of the first few people to line up to buy tickets.

Anyone else wants Rob Schneider to go to the Philippines? How about we turn this into a makeshift petition of sorts?

Go Paperless with your BPI Account Statements!

I’ve been trying to be more conscientious about the amount of paper I waste. You can say that it’s one of my resolutions this 2011. To start off with my green campaign, I’ve gone paperless on BPI!

Every month, I get mail from BPI with details about my bank accounts. And after a couple of years, the stack of mail I’ve got from the bank has now grown considerably tall. What’s worse is that I rarely (if not never) look through them because I have the online banking option which allows me to view my account statement wherever I am.

If you’re like me, why not consider going green as well? It takes only 3 clicks to save a ton of paper and make a difference. :) And don’t worry, choosing to go paperless on your bank accounts won’t affect your credit card statements, if you have any.

Hello, 2011!

Happy New Year everyone! To usher in this brand new year, we are moving our blog here at myweb.ph/blog with a shiny, new WordPress theme we made (click here to download this customizable WordPress theme for free!).

We are quite excited and ready for 2011. We have a whole bunch of plans for the site, which we will be announcing in this blog from time to time so do stay tuned.

If you haven’t noticed, we also introduced a lot of major changes last 2010. One of the biggest is the myweb.ph subdomain / web space we give for free along with your classifiedsPH.com account. We were quite pleased with the myweb.ph domain because it is easy to remember, and will help support your endeavors to market your products, services, etc. If you created a classifiedsPH.com a while back, and would like your own address, simply log in to your account, and you will see a link to get your own username and edit your personal page.

We also have 2 ongoing promos which would hopefully boost your business further. Please do check them out:
